Activity:
Today we will begin learning about scale and scale drawing. In order to make accurate models of some part of your sustainable urban transportation system you must understand scale and how to use it.
We will work through a couple of example and then working in teams you will measure the MakerSpace and the furniture in the MakerSpace and create a scale drawing of the floor plan of the room.
Exit Ticket: On the 8th grade portion of the Grand Challenge board you will leave a sticky note showing one connection you can make to the Grand Challenge and something you are doing in a particular class.
