ENGR-STEM3 – Students will design technological problem solutions using scientific investigation, analysis and interpretation of data, innovation, invention, and fabrication while considering economic, environmental, social, political, ethical, health and safety, manufacturability, and sustainability constraints.
(a) Demonstrate fundamental principles of design. (b) Design and conduct experiments along with analysis and interpretation of data. (c) Identify and consider realistic constraints relevant to the design of a system, component, or process. Essential Question: How do we recreate things? Bell Ringer: Go to Google Classroom and complete the bell ringer. Activity: Today we will complete our Circus Maximus Project. You will write a reflection based on the rubric. Go to Google Classroom and complete the assignment. After you have completed your reflection return to the assignment from last week on catapults and complete that. The next project we will be working on is the Pumpkin Chunkin. You will be working in assigned group to build a catapult to throw an acorn squash across the soccer field.
