(c) Identify and consider realistic constraints relevant to the design of a system, component, or process. Essential Question: How do we work as a team? Bell Ringer: Starting Monday we will be using Google Classroom for bellringers. Use the code below to join our classroom. l1q6u9p Activity: Today we will be building bigger, better towers. Your team will need to work together to design and build a tower from balsa sticks that will hold a golf ball for one minute. The goal is to have the tallest tower that will stand. The golf ball must be able to be positioned at the top. In order to do this you team will have to buy supplies from me. Each team will have a $5000 budget. Once you decide on your design your team will bring me an invoice for the materials you would like to purchase. You may trade with other teams or buy things from other teams with money you have left in your budget. The price list is below. Balsa Sticks- $300 each Glue Stick- $200 each Box Cutter- $100 each Scissors- $100 each Tape- $200 per foot Exit Ticket: What did your team do best? What did your team struggle with? Make sure you clean your work area. and stack your chairs.
