Demonstrate the proper safe use of tools and equipment. Essential Question: How do we work safely in the MakerSpace? Bell Ringer: Go to Google Classroom and complete the bell ringer. Activity: By today everyone should be actively shooting their videos. Remember to check the video checklist to ensure that you are completing everything in the manner I have instructed. Groups Video Checklist Rubric The videos will be due on Wednesday the 26th. We will have our written safety test on Thursday. Your group will have to turn in a storyboard before you may begin on the final project. You will receive a classwork grade for your storyboard which you is due by the end of class tomorrow . The videor will count as a quiz grade and then we will take 2 multiple choice test Thursday. The tests will cover basic safety, hand tool safety, power tool safety and slips, trips, and falls. Remember that even though you are only making a posters for one list you are responsible for knowing the information on all of the lists. It is your group's job to produce a stop motion video that will conveny to the class the material that is covered by your groups list. You will be graded on a rubric which I am attaching below. Bell Ringer: Go to Google Classroom and complete the bell ringer. Activity: Today we will finish the Astro Teller video. Then we will complete a short engineering challenge. Exit Ticket: Remember to stack your chairs at the end of class. Everyday I will post a blog entry which will cover everything we will be covering in class. If you are absent you are expected to keep up with what we are covering by following the blog. Standard: The first thing that you will see in each blog entry is the standard we will be using to drive your learning. This shows you the skill that you are expected to master. Essential Question: Next will be the essential question we are trying to answer during that class period. Bell Ringer: Each day you come in your first job will be to complete the bell ringer. I will post a question in Google Classroom titled bell ringer. I will give you feedback and a grade each day. At the end of the week you will receive a grade for that week's bell ringers.
