Activity: Every group should be working on filming today. I have extended to the due date till Thursday to ensure you have enough time to complete the assignment. Exit Ticket: List the 3 rules that you feel are most important to MakerSpace safety.

Activity: Today we will be starting our unit on safety. This will be a group project. I will place you in groups. Each group will be responsible for one of the safety list. It is your groups job to produce a safety video that conveys to the rest of the groups the things covered in your list. You will be graded on a rubric which I am attaching below. Safety Video Rubric 7th Period Groups The final video will be due on Tuesday, March 29th. We will have our written safety test on Wednesday, March 30th. Your group will have to turn in a storyboard for your video before you start filming. You will receive a classwork grade for your storyboard which you is due by the end of class today . The Video will count as a quiz grade and then we will take 2 multiple choice test Thursday, January 14th. The tests will cover basic safety, hand tool safety, power tool safety and slips, trips, and falls. Remember that even though you are only making a video for one list you are responsible for knowing the information on all of the list. Standard: The first thing that you will see in each blog entry is the standard we will be using to drive your learning. This shows you the skill that you are expected to master. Essential Question: Next will be the essential question we are trying to answer during that class period. Bell Ringer: Each day you come in your first job will be to complete the bell ringer. I will post a question in Google Classroom titled bell ringer. I will give you feedback and a grade each day. At the end of the week you will receive a grade for that week's bell ringers.
