ENGR-STEM3 – Students will design technological problem solutions using scientific investigation, analysis and interpretation of data, innovation, invention, and fabrication while considering economic, environmental, social, political, ethical, health and safety, manufacturability, and sustainability constraints. (a) Demonstrate fundamental principles of design. (b) Design and conduct experiments along with analysis and interpretation of data. (c) Identify and consider realistic constraints relevant to the design of a system, component, or process. Essential Question: How do we determine the problem we are addressing? Bell Ringer: Sit quietly for the substitute to take attendance. Activity: Today you will start to brainstorm ideas for your final independent project. Please do not write on the sheet which the substitute provides you. Remember our discussions on failure and it's importance in the innovation process. Remember your number one goal will be to try and kill your project. Be audacious in your solutions . Also, the rebranding of the Makerspace as a Moonshot factory. Exit Ticket: Make sure you clean your work area. and push your chairs in. We will discuss your ideas when I return.
